Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate personal care and assistance to patients in accordance with their care plans.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately.
  • Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Move and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and families to update patient care plans and report changes in condition.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patient care and comfort.
  • Administer medication as directed by licensed nurses and document all care provided.

Qualifications

  • Active and unencumbered Kentucky Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and medical staff.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting and bending.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
