Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, meal preparation, and changing bed linens.
- Communicate any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the supervising Registered Nurse immediately.
- Administer medication as directed by the care plan and licensed nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients within their home.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CNA Certification is preferred, but not required for this position (We offer paid training!).
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are mandatory for home health travel.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations.
