Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Communication: Relay important patient information to RNs and physicians promptly and clearly.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients and staff.
- Assistance with Mobility: Support patients in transferring and moving safely using proper body mechanics.
Qualifications
- Education: Current, unencumbered Minnesota State CNA License.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
