Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, acting as a bridge between them and the medical team.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation exercises under the direction of licensed staff.
Qualifications
- Current CNA Certification required (or enrollment in a CNA program).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use EHR systems.
- CPR certification is a plus but not mandatory for new hires.
- Valid NC driver's license and reliable transportation.
