Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas, wheelchair services, and meals.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
- Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and maintaining a sanitary environment.
- Update patient charts and records accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA Certification (or eligibility to obtain certification) is preferred.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Physical stamina to stand and move for long periods.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
