Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients to enhance their quality of life.
- Document patient care activities and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely using proper techniques and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized environment for all patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- CNA Certification is preferred but not strictly required for compassionate candidates (willingness to train considered).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use electronic health records.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transport duties.
