Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor residents' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents to enhance their quality of life.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding residents who require special dietary accommodations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents by following infection control protocols.
- Transport residents to and from medical appointments, activities, or outdoor excursions using wheelchairs or walkers.
- Document daily care activities and resident observations accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required (Entry Level / No Experience).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not always mandatory.
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred upon hiring.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A valid driver's license is a plus for transportation duties.
