Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during challenging times.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to prevent infection and ensure patient comfort.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, progress, and changes in condition accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with nurses and other medical staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Current CNA certification (or willingness to obtain one through our training program).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed; physical stamina required.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes.
