Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor patient health status by observing physical signs and symptoms.
- Assist with mobility by transferring patients safely to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Record vital signs, input patient data into electronic medical records (EMR) accurately.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or concerns to the Registered Nurse (RN) and physician immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current Oklahoma State CNA Certification and valid license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification (American Heart Association).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients weighing up to 250 lbs.
- Strong empathy, patience, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to perform physical duties required for patient care.
