Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct care to patients, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients; assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Communication: Communicate patient status changes and needs to the nursing staff and physicians in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Accurately complete medical records, charts, and incident reports.
- Emergency Response: Respond immediately to patient emergencies and assist in maintaining a calm environment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Arizona.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not always required for the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform physical tasks.
- Compassion: Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
