Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Report any changes in patient condition or concerns to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Assist with transferring and positioning patients safely using proper body mechanics.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment for patient care.
- Administer medications as directed by the nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of California.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
