Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Ensure patient safety by following infection control and hygiene protocols.
- Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Document patient care plans and changes in condition accurately.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required for the state of Washington.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong compassion and a desire to provide high-quality patient care.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from shift locations.
