Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and prevent falls.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team, physicians, and patients to update care plans.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment for patients and residents.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Florida.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or home health setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
