Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight measurements.
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring all equipment is clean and functional.
- Administer injections, vaccinations, and medications under strict physician supervision.
- Manage patient intake, including updating electronic health records (EHR) and insurance information.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries and coordinating follow-up appointments.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare compliance standards and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous healthcare experience is not required, but a strong desire to learn is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, patient demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients or equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency with a willingness to learn our EHR system.
- CPR certification is preferred; if not held, certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
