Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for diverse patient populations.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
Required Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or Virginia.
- CPR (BLS) and ACLS certifications (ACLS required for Critical Care units).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
