Responsibilities
- Provide direct and compassionate care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a continuum of care.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care plans and progress notes.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) state license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
