Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide basic patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff regarding patient status and concerns.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with healthcare standards.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
- Entry-level candidates with a strong passion for patient care and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients and families.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with patient lifting/moving.
- High school diploma or GED required.
