Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, ensuring accuracy.
- Assist with medical equipment and procedures, such as wound care, catheter care, and insulin administration.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to update care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment in compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license active in the state of Illinois.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
