Your Impact
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential care to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity in a professional setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate) accurately.
- Assist licensed nurses with medical procedures, wound care, and medication administration as directed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient conditions.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.
- Document patient care activities and changes in patient status in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA or LPN license in the state of practice (NC or FL).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care, hospital, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
