Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care to patients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist licensed nurses with medication administration and treatment procedures.
- Observe and report any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Document all patient care activities and interactions in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA or LPN License.
- CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with patient mobility.
