Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide basic bedside care and support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate patient status and concerns to RNs and Physicians effectively.
- Document patient care plans and update records accurately.
- Administer medication and treatments as directed by licensed staff.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or CNA-L license in North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
