Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patient health status by observing symptoms, reporting changes, and recording vital signs accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed nursing staff.
- Assist with patient transfers using proper body mechanics and mobility equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN, LPN, or CNA license in North Carolina.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (new graduates welcome).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
