Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to families.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and change in patient condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but experience is not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated empathy and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
