Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Document patient care plans and changes in patient condition accurately and timely.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and assist physicians during exams.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized healthcare environment.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Current, valid CNA or Medical Assistant certification/license in Florida.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
