Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately.
- Assist physicians and nurses with medical procedures and examinations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment to prevent infections and accidents.
- Document patient care plans and daily progress reports in electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Transport patients safely using wheelchairs or stretchers when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or Medical Assistant license.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with electronic health records preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Valid Driver's License (required for potential travel to California facilities).
- CPR/BLS Certification is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
