As a CNA on our night shift, you will be the eyes and ears of our nursing staff, ensuring our patients are safe, comfortable, and well-cared for while they rest. If you are a compassionate professional ready to elevate patient care standards, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respirations, at scheduled intervals.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients to alleviate anxiety and promote a calming environment.
- Assist the nursing staff with medication administration and wound care as directed.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of patient rooms and common areas throughout the shift.
- Communicate any changes in a patient’s condition to the charge nurse immediately.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Texas State CNA License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
