Responsibilities
- Assessing and recording vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
- Providing personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assisting patients with mobility and ambulation.
- Administering medications and treatments as directed by the RN.
- Monitoring patients for changes in condition and reporting immediately.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Maryland CNA license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
