Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Administer medication reminders and document care plans accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Current, active Massachusetts CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a home care or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night hours.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
