Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with medication administration and treatments under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date patient care records and documentation in compliance with facility standards.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for all residents and patients.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff, physicians, and family members regarding patient conditions and changes in status.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or a hospital setting is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a night shift team.
- Physical stamina to lift, transfer, and assist patients as required by the job description.
