Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, accurately.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics.
- Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs throughout the night shift.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and family members regarding patient status.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate attitude with a focus on resident well-being and dignity.
- Reliable transportation available.
