Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the RN or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene to ensure patient comfort.
- Document patient care plans, medications, and daily progress accurately in electronic medical records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Support patients with emotional needs and provide companionship during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Arizona.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-volume setting.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
- Compassionate attitude and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Flexibility to work various night shift schedules (e.g., 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
