Responsibilities
- Perform routine patient assessments, including vital signs, height, weight, and temperature checks.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups and schedule appointments.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a primary care or specialty setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centric approach.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
