Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance to residents.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse, accurately.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as per dietary restrictions.
- Implement individualized care plans under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient changes in condition.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and follow established protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and active Florida CNA license (CNA I or II).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in long-term care or a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
- Physical stamina to lift and assist patients as required by the job.
