Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Perform and record vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests.
- Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out procedures efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and charts.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Provide patient education and prepare them for discharge.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Arizona State Medical Assistant license (if applicable).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, or holidays as needed.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
