Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated CNA to provide high-quality, patient-centered care during our night shift operations. You will play a crucial role in monitoring patient conditions, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe environment for our residents and patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Assist with patient transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Document patient care plans, updates, and incidents accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations within scope of practice.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, active Nevada CNA License required.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Previous experience in a hospital, assisted living, or long-term care facility preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a professional bedside manner.
