Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and report any abnormalities to the Charge Nurse immediately.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents to enhance their quality of life.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the licensed nurse within scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records and care plans.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residents and staff.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the State of Florida (required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a night shift team and independently.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine passion for patient care.
