Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, and hygiene support
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient conditions
- Assist with patient positioning, turning, and pressure ulcer prevention
- Respond to patient call lights and provide timely assistance with daily needs
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team to implement care plans
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Support end-of-life care and emotional support for patients and families
Qualifications
- Active North CNA license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience
- BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
