Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care to patients including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations in electronic health records
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and emergency response protocols
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and medical equipment
- Communicate effectively with night shift team members and family members
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities
- Availability to work 3+ consecutive night shifts weekly
