Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with meal service and ensure proper nutrition/hydration
- Support resident activities and social engagement programs
- Collaborate with nursing staff on care plan implementation
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergencies
Qualifications
- Active NM State CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required (will train)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Flexibility to cover multiple facility locations
- Proficiency with EMR systems (training provided)
