Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Measure and record vital signs and patient observations
- Provide mobility support and safe patient transportation
- Assist with feeding and nutritional support as needed
- Report patient condition changes to nursing staff promptly
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Document care activities accurately in patient records
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain Florida CNA certification within 90 days of hire
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid Florida driver's license preferred for transport duties
