Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.)
- Support nurses with patient care documentation and reporting
- Ensure patient rooms are clean, sanitized, and well-stocked
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Transport patients safely within the facility
- Assist with meal service and feeding when required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CNA certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate attitude and commitment to patient dignity
- No prior healthcare experience required
