Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor clinical status throughout the shift.
- Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with hospital standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment while adhering to infection control protocols.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and utilize critical thinking skills to resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Current and active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred; acute care experience is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) with flexibility for overtime if needed.
