Responsibilities
- Monitor Patient Status: Continuously assess vital signs and patient conditions to ensure immediate response to any changes.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments following strict protocols.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians and the nursing team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Documentation: Accurately and promptly document patient care activities and clinical observations in electronic health records.
- Emergency Response: Quickly respond to code blues and medical emergencies with confidence and competence.
- Patient Advocacy: Serve as a primary advocate for patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Florida.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred, with strong night shift experience.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting critical patient data.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
