Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse medical-surgical units with critical thinking skills
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per established protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EMR systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO standards and regulatory requirements
- Supervise LVNs and CNAs while ensuring quality care delivery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license with intent to obtain FL license)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred for critical care roles
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (new graduates welcome with residency program)
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
