Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Document patient observations accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free environment
- Support social activities and promote resident independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient support
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary – we provide full training!
- Current New Mexico CNA certification or willingness to obtain through our program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to our Albuquerque location
