Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse)
- Support patients during meals and ensure proper nutrition
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control
- Communicate patient observations to nursing staff accurately
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Follow HIPAA protocols and maintain confidential patient records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active California CNA certification or enrollment in state-approved program
- No prior experience necessary – we provide hands-on training
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Compassionate attitude and strong interpersonal skills
