Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to safety protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor patient conditions, document vital signs and clinical changes accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and health promotion.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and patient needs within the unit.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of California.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school (Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
