Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide assistance with mobility, including transfers to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Monitor patient behavior and report any changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals while respecting dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document care provided accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred but not required for entry-level applicants.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
