Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Patient Hygiene: Change linens, assist with toileting, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Communication: Report changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Emotional Support: Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities.
- Assistance with Mobility: Help residents transfer in and out of bed or wheelchairs safely.
- Documentation: Accurately complete care plans and daily logs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Required for all applicants.
- Willingness to Learn: No previous CNA experience required; we will train you.
- Compassion & Patience: A genuine desire to help others is essential.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with residents and families.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and assist with lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Valid Driver’s License: Preferred but not mandatory.
