Responsibilities
- Assist Patients: Provide basic daily living assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Hygiene Support: Ensure patients maintain personal hygiene and a clean living environment.
- Communication: Report changes in patient condition or behavior to the Registered Nurse immediately.
- Mobility Assistance: Help patients move, walk, or transfer safely using proper body mechanics.
- Meal Support: Serve and assist patients with eating to ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
- Documentation: Accurately complete incident reports and care logs as required.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior CNA experience required. We provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Certification: Must be willing to obtain or currently hold a valid CNA certification (State of Tennessee).
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy.
- Soft Skills: Compassionate nature, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
